Young Eagles Introduction

Our first 2018 Young Eagle event will be on Sunday, April 22. A June event is still TBD. In October we hope to fly on the Sunday the 21st.

Three times a year EAA Chapter 501 conducts a "Young Eagles Flight Rally."  It gives kids ages 8 to 17 a free plane ride as an introduction to the fun of flying.

Most recently we have conducted the event at Lincoln Park Airport on a Sunday morning from 9am and ending at about noon.

The timetable for our 2013 Young Eagles Flight Rallies will be determined in January or February and be posted on this website as soon as it is set. The first event of the year usually is sometime in April.

More information about Young Eagles can be found at our EAA National organization's website at http://www.youngeagles.org
